Control

How do we get to a point in our relationships where we give up all sense of control? Why does every couple seem to have one person who 'manages' the relationship and who dictates if the other person can or cannot do certain things?

Will I ever have my sense of self back? With that, who am I now?

The good thing I think is this...if you gave control away at some point, you can get it back!
Take notice of ways you "ask permission" and then make a point to not do that. Start small, make small changes and then expand from there.

I'm crude...I saw the word pussy (though not used in the way I was thinking) and this thread caught my attention. I thought this was a wild and crazy section. It isnt, but I say you do have the golden purse (isnt that the term??)...therefore you DO HAVE control...learn how to use it!!!! It is priceless.
