Wallowing...

Well, right now I think I am feeling like wallowing in some self pity! I know it is pathetic, but I guess on occassion it happens. Anyone else in the self pity muck with me?

Cinderella, I sympathize. I would wallow if I could as well. The sad part here is that no one would notice if I did. I can say in a lot of ways I am totally alone. No one would notice if I started wallowing. I have friends, and good ones at that, but they don't see this side I don't think. Sometimes I just wish someone would put their arms around me and tell me it will be ok. I long for that. When I feel totally overwhelmed, I see how people give up on life. This is not an option I am wanting, but I do get it. I feel like I am a passenger in my own life. I dont feel in control and I dont know how it has gotten to where it has. I also want what I cannot have, which is also depressing. Poor me, huh? Silly I know. Many have it MUCH worse, but I guess it's all relative.

Wallowing = having someone you know you want to be with but can't be. Hating him for it. Blaming yourself. Loving it otherwise.

I think the wine is taking over tonight...

Train- maybe it is the wine- I have had a different cocktail...maybe that's why I dont get what you said...LOL
Wish I had advice- but first... I'm not sure what you mean and secondly... you really DON"T want advice from me...

Hopefully the wallowing is just a temp situation so we can appreciate the good things more! I am waiting patiently and excitedly for those good times...hope they come soon...or it will be back to wallowing!

RT- why do you hate the one you want?

I don't necessarily hate him...just the circumstances involved.

And, yes, I drank too much wine last night...that's why I made no sense. Sorry.
